It is dry version without using any sauces like soya, tomato or vinegar...
Kids love these type of finger foods more than anything ... can be made in a jiffy without any preparation ...

These serve as perfect accompainment for tea n great pass time snacks during journeys..These tend to have a real long shelf life ..that might last up to a month easily when stored in airtight containers. So what else could be a better snack, to make n store than this ...??

A swiss roll / jelly roll / cream roll is a type of sponge cake roll filled with whipped cream, jam or icing ...
Always loved this Swiss roll but failed in a number of attempts ..though the taste and sponge turned good , ended up with cracks ..so i had to frost in order to cover them...
Thanks to my friend n guide Shano, who came to my rescue with this awesome recipe ...Her recipe is fail proof n no cracks wat so ever ..I am really satisfied with the outcome n moreover its so simple n easy to make...


Marigold flower making using crepe paper !!

Having a girl child at home opens the doors for creativity n DIY 's...My daughter loves diy's n forced me to make this Marigold flower..
To my surprise it turned out better than the real ones , started with a flower making n ended up with the beautiful Thoran for my door ...& moreover they stay lively for ever...
They are so easy to make without much of a fuss n just need a couple of items ...

Cold Weather ??? Batter fermentation made easier !!

Fermenting the dosa / idli batter has always been a task since the day we moved here as the weather is cold year long ...
But we as south indians prefer dosa/idli for weekend breakfast ..so fermentation has become a dream come true..
Tried various methods over the years but was not completely satisfied as my batter used to ferment but never used to increase by volume  n turn bit frothy as it used to be in India..
But following these simple steps gave me perfect results...
